About Me

Hello, I’m Michele! I’m a Registered Nurse with 20 years of experience, all of it spent in the fast-paced world of critical care nursing. Working in the ICU setting, I’ve been at the forefront of life-and-death situations, performing CPR and playing key roles on cardiac arrest teams. Those experiences have shown me just how powerful and essential CPR knowledge can be.

Originally from Ohio, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 2005. GO BUCKS! After starting my career in Columbus, I moved to New York City, where I gained invaluable work experience and enjoyed the energy city life. Later, I relocated to Richmond, VA, to raise my family. In 2023, my family and I made the big move to Peoria, AZ, to be closer to my husband’s family and embrace the Arizona lifestyle.

As we settled into our new home and routine, I realized it was time to pivot my career. With a background in post-cardiac surgical intensive care and extensive experience managing cardiac arrests in the hospital, I felt a strong calling to take my skills beyond the hospital. Teaching has always been a passion of mine—I loved mentoring new nurses and students—so I decided to combine my expertise in CPR with education.

Now, through Empower CPR and First Aid, I’m excited to bring a fresh, personalized approach to CPR training. My goal is to make learning CPR a supportive and empowering experience that leaves you feeling confident and capable of saving a life. Whether you're renewing your certification or learning for the first time, I’m here to make sure the process is not only educational but also enjoyable.
